On Monday, 28 of June, an educational seminar “Application of the new and unique VAT Rulebook” was held at the Falkensteiner Hotel. Irina Stevanović Gavrović, Head of the VAT group at the Ministry of Finance and our guest lecturer explained the new and significant changes to the Rulebook, which enters into force on 1st of July, 2021. At the same time, she shared with us the news that the application of the provisions related to VAT treatment of returnable packaging has been postponed until 1st of January, 2022.
