TPA Czech Republic has been named the Best Employer in Taxes for the fifth time in the Daňař & Daňová firma roku 2021 (Tax Advisor & Tax Firm of the Year 2021) competition. However, this was not the only award TPA won in the competition. The firm’s other achievements were supported by Jana Skálová taking first place in the Top Tax Personality of the Year – Business Tax category and Jiří Hlaváč taking the Tax Star of the Year – DIRECT TAX category.
For the fifth time, TPA is the best employer in taxes
TPA has won the Tax Advisor & Tax Firm of the Year competition several times in the past. Specifically, in 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2018. “This award is very prestigious for us and we are sincerely pleased about it. We are a consulting firm and people are our most important asset. Jana Skálová received it for winning the Tax Personality of the Year – Business Tax Sector category. “Thank you to everyone who voted for me in this competition. It is a great honour for me. For me, the victory means the appreciation of my work in the Presidium of the Chamber of Tax Advisors, many professionals know me not only from lectures and publications, but also from tax advisor examinations,” said Jana Skálová.
“I am delighted that the award in the category of DIRECT TAXES (including international taxation and transfer pricing) also goes to TPA through me. I think I was awarded together with our team mainly for our long-term work in the field of transfer pricing, for our reputation in the field of expert appraisals in the field of tax and accounting and for co-authoring the recently published commentary on the Income Tax Act,” explained Jiří Hlaváč.

The Tax Advisor & Tax Firm of the Year competition has been held since 2010 and is the only competition of this type in the Czech Republic. The aim of the competition is to select the best tax specialists, tax personalities and to choose the most client-friendly tax offices. This year, the announcement of the competition took place online via the MS Teams platform in connection with the measures related to the pandemic of Covid-19.
