Accounting Manager

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Training and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks.
  • Ensuring that all members of the team operate with correct financial procedures
  • Overseeing the daily activities of the team and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
  • Preparation of financial statements and tax reports according to the local standards and legislation;
  • Responsible for the review and reconciliation of VAT;
  • Responsible for following up and implementing the local TAX and financial legislation;
  • Preparing reports following the management requirements and group reporting for clients;
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles;
  • Daily communication with the clients related to different topics;
  • Cooperation with external audit and legal support and Tax authorities;

Requirements:

  • University degree (in Accounting or Finance);
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work  experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment;
  • Knowledge of local accounting standards, IAS and IFRS;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Excellent computer software skills and knowledge of SAP or ABSoft would be an advantage;
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to adapt to and operate in a fast-paced, changing environment;
